Extract Resources

Extract Resources Limited’s main asset is the Husab Uranium Project, located approximately 45km north-east of Namibia’s main port - Walvis Bay, which has been defined as the fourth largest uranium deposit in the world.

Consistently high assay results have identified the Husab project as the largest in-situ and highest grade granite-hosted uranium deposit in Namibia, with a current JORC compliant Measured and Indicated Resources for Zones 1 & 2 of 358.1 Mlbs and a JORC compliant Inferred Resource of 154.8 Mlb from Zones 1,2,3, 4 and 5.  The DFS confirmed Husab's viability to become one of the top three largest uranium mines in the world, producing 15Mlb of U3O8 per annum via conventional open pit methods.

With a current Reserve of 319.9Mlb on Zones 1 & 2, of which 78.7Mlb is Proven (equivalent to four years of full production), and significant upside potential from newly delineated areas on the Husab Project, the Board of Kalahari is confident that Extract’s Reserve and Resource base will continue to grow, underpinning Husab's status as the most significant new uranium mine as it moves into production in 2014.
